Colour Challenge at DSDI

I took part in a colour challenge at DSDI, you can find it here

For the challenge you had to use a specific colour pallet to either scrap a layout or create your own mini-kit to share.

I decided to have a go at making a mini-kit. I used some CU Freebies from Gunheld Storeide

I decided then that I would also scrap a layout with the kit...I had to right?!

Challenges at Digi Scraps Drive-In

I took part in a couple of challenges at DSDI yesterday:

The first was 'Alphabet Soup' - you had to scrap a layout with the letter 'O'. It took me a few days to figure out what I could scrap about, then it hit me yesterday. My brother died of bone cancer 6 weeks ago and his motto was 'ONE LIFE. LIVE IT'....so that was my 'O' sorted:

The next challenge was 'What's Cookin' Good Lookin':

You had to scrap a layout using the following 'recipe:
2 patterned papers
3 solid papers
4 flowers
3 leaves
1 doodle
1 frame
1 ribbon
2 photos
A title and at least 3 lines of journaling

New Blog Design

I decided to have a bit of a change, as I've had the same design for about a year now! I've been lazy though and instead of making it myself, I got a freebie template from LeeLou Blogs - I love it! Its called I {heart} Spring
There's a few different designs to choose from or you could just go with one of the backgrounds.
